After a really long search I finally found a matching head for the dark skinned 'enhanced' CGv2 bodies I have.
This head is from a Chinese Barbie-lookalike doll, the head resembles the lovely 2005/Fashion Fever Barbie head but has a slightly different shaped nose and her smile is a bit bigger.
As I wrote long ago in a random thought on the 'Thoughts and Trivia' page, I was looking for a dark skinned head with big hair and a big smile, well you can not get much bigger hair than this and her big smile is totally adorable.
Apart from the slightly oversized eyes, this head sculpt has a realistic shape and beautiful features.
Just like most recent Barbie heads, this one also is slightly larger, but it does look great on a CG v2 body.
Since I bought the doll just for the head, I checked if the skintone of the head was a close match to that of the body, which indeed it is. So I carefully removed the head from the body to check the size of the neck hole. The neck hole is similar in size and shape as those of Barbie heads, so I could modify the neck of the CG body in my usual way.
I slightly modified the neck of the CG v2 body. After that I used a piece of vinyl tubing to adapt the neck post to the wider neck hole of the head.
Art first I dressed her in a yellow FemBasix leotard and a stretchy purple Barbie skirt, later I made her a 70ies style disco jumpsuit.
