Aoshima did a really nice scale model of each of the versions of the AZ-1.
Autozam was a division of Mazda, this list provides the Mazda paint codes of all versions of this car.
Suzuki did the Cara, an identical version of the AZ-1 that was painted in the same colors.

The picture shows a 1992 AZ-1 in Classic Red with Venetian Grey lower body panels.
This is the base version with steel wheels, as included in the Aoshima 'Best Car GT Nr.42' kit.
The Aoshima 'Model Car Nr.38' kit includes both steel wheels and a choice of different alloy wheels.

The picture shows a 1992 AZ-1 Mazdaspeed in Silver Stone metallic, with a Classic Red one in the background.
New features for the Mazdaspeed version are a lower bonnet with wider scoop, a front bumper/spoiler, a large rear wing, a new rear bumper, a new exhaust and the Mazdaspeed alloy wheels.
Note that the lower panels of the Mazdaspeed versions are all painted in body color.

The picture shows a 1994 '1015' version modified by M2 Incorporated (a Mazda division, a.k.a. Mazda Two) in Chaste White.
New for the M2 version are the different bonnet with fog lights and the large adjustable rear wing (which differs from the Mazdaspeed wing).
Note that the front and rear bumpers are standard Autozam ones instead of Mazdaspeed versions, the wheels are Mazdaspeed.
This M2 version with a choice of wheels can be found in the Aoshima 'S Package Ver.R Nr.62' kit.
