For scale modelers it often proves to be quite a puzzle to work out what paint colors should be used to make an accurate car model kit, so I compiled some overviews.
I will add more whenever I prepare to start another car model kit.
My own take on using these lists is seeing a picture of a car, then using the list to look up what the exact paint color could be.
The factory color code in the list can then be used to find a matching paint color.
I added links to online copies of sales brochures as those are a great source of detailed info and pictures.
In addition to making lists, I also plan to include links to websites that provide paint color info for other cars, such as Daz's Import Archive where paint color codes are listed for a wide range of cars that were available in the USA.
The RX-7 list has been on my site for some years and is quite complete, the RX-8 list is limited to those versions covered by the Fujimi kits, the MX-5 list is not as complete yet due to the many Special Editions Mazda released in certain regions or countries.
