Honda CR-X Paint Colors

There were model kits made of every generation of the Honda CR-X, including the Del Sol.
Most of the color info was found at the english Wikipedia pages and on Daz's Import Archive website.

1984 CR-X 1.3 (20kB)

CR-X AF 1984

In 1984 bumpers and lower body panels were painted silver for 1.5i and were left dark gray ABS for 1.3 engined cars.

The picture shows a 1984 CR-X 1.3 in Victoria Red with unpainted bumpers and side molds.

CR-X AF 1985

From 1985 onwards bumpers and lower body panels of 1.5 engined cars were painted dark metallic gray instead of silver.
Bumpers and body panels of 1.3 engined cars were left ABS dark gray, but were painted on request.

CR-X ED9 1988-1989

A 1990 CR-X Si in Barbados Yellow, the most striking color for a CR-X until the Celestial Blue VTECs appeared.
